Also, I don’t see how she can break a contract that the NG has with a hotel as a matter of law. The government can’t just go around breaking agreements because an official feels like it.
What is she going to do, call the DC police to evict them? Aren’t they busy at the moment?
I’d say the most she could do is sue. And she would lose if our courts were at all rational and follow the law. But that’s not always the case; politics matters.

If they tear the White House fence down and storm the White House, I have zero confidence the Secret Service will open fire.
They will give us platitudes about “their job being to protect the President and not a building”.
If they storm the White House, that will begin the civil war that no sane person actually wants. But that will be our sad duty.
