It’s disgusting that the % of blacks who are thugs represent 100% of the black population. They don’t but the press and Ds won’t let you know that.
I guess it’s the same prejudice that all Asians are math geniuses and all whites are racist... Whatever it is, it’s absurd and offensive.
According to this article in today’s WSJ (https://www.wsj.com/articles/dont-call-rioters-protesters-11591293310), 15% of blacks in cities w/ riots, which constituted only 673 cities w/ over 25k residents, participated in the ‘68 riots, and the author believes a similar number today.
That means that a small minority of the black population participated in the riots. Even giving back 10-20% for those who participated in the riots, these behaviors are obviously representative of a small minority of the black population (just as they are of white, Asians, Hispanics).
Now, even if 100% of blacks — and they don’t — support the looting, clearly a small percentage of blacks actually participate in it.
So how do we account for the 85% of blacks are being defined by the 15% looters?
The quick answer is politics, media and culture. I get that. But I also get from these numbers that the vast majority of blacks disagree with the looting and violence but their voices are muted or diverted. My takeaway, then, is for Trump to keep speaking out against the rioters, since most blacks actually agree with that perspective.
