Yes. That is the whole point of Heather MacDonald writing her book, Bill Whittle making the video using her data analysis, and my posting it here on Free Republic.
I am 100% prepared (because I know the Left in all of its iterations) for three things to take place:
- The actual statistics, collected, collated, and transmitted to the federal government agencies such as the Department of Justice, who has mandated the reporting of accurate data on crime to the Federal Government to serve as a "Gold Standard", will be denounced as lies, as a statistical trick to portray a point of view, instead of reflecting reality.
- I will be called a racist, Free Republic will be called Racist, anyone who reads this and even considers that it may have validity will be called a racist.
- The number of people involved in supporting this insurrection based on a lie (who have sympathy for the criminals, are actively participating in the violence, or are silently condoning it) who will look at something like this and consider the facts is so vanishingly small as to be non-existent, since it is all emotion based or power based.
I can't help any of those things. But I can speak the truth aloud, even if I am pilloried for it, branded as a racist or bigot, or attacked for it. Because there is no factual basis, it is all emotionally driven for the people being manipulated, or power driven for the people fanning the flames.
