I think that will start a war. I am pretty sure it will start a war.

I personally don’t want to see the boogaloo. I can do without...

The only thing they are wrecking are their own cities! Let their mayors and other politicians figure out how to deal with it. Most of those politicians love this crap because they think “muh stop trump plan!”.

Also, let them figure out how to pay for it when all these small business don’t come back, and they leave these people with no tax base to do anything better for their cities.

I REALLY don’t understand freeper’s hard driving desire to see this ended. Trump’s best play is to let it burn out, and let these mayors deal with it.

And if you live in a city affected, you should just leave. Your property values are NOT going to recover after this for a long time, if ever in your lifetime. Cut your losses and get out. It will NOT ever get better, because your fellow citizens don’t have a desire for things to be better.

I get what you’re saying and I’ve even had the same thoughts.

In theory its OK to let them deal with the mess they’ve created. Decades of mismanagement and corruption getting its just end. I understand all that.

But the reality is they won’t pay for it. The congress, with the assistance of weak Republicans, will likely dole out trillions to the blue states and cities. In addition, the Federal Reserve has already established a Municipal Liquidity Facility (like that name?) to bail out the local governments and cover revenue short falls. All on a “temporary” basis of course. So as usual, the Dems will get someone else to pay for their wake of destruction they leave behind.

Other considerations are the additional damage to the economy these riots are doing. Unemployment is already sky high; we don’t need more of it. So far the market has held up pretty well but how much more bad news can it take before there’s a serious crash? I don’t want to see a redux of the last drop of 9,000 points. Things like this can wreck people’s life savings and retirement plans.

And then there’s the broader sociological impact of watching the collapse of law and order. That has a very bad effect on people and the national psyche. It also sends a terrible message to the rest of the world, especially to our adversaries.

I don’t live in one of these cities thankfully but the disease is spilling over into surrounding areas. We will all pay for it one way or another.

Hopefully you can understand why a lot of Freepers want this ended particularly after enduring months of lockdown and watching the expansion of government power. We need to stabilize the country now. Just my humble opinion.
