Trump’s basic point is that the Governors and the Mayors need to step up to the plate and take control of their states and cities. The Federal Govt will be there to back them up if need be.
Keep in mind that the rioting, looting, vandalism, and anarchy is happening in Democrat run states and cities. It is the Democrats problem to control. If they need help from the Feds all they have to do is call.
Trump used the same playbook with corona virus. He left it up to the states to control the virus and the Feds would provide whatever backup they needed.
The anarchy we are seeing is being caused by incompetent Democrat leaders in the states and cities.
They are not incompetent. They are evil. There is a difference.
