Have the rammers been suspended yet?

Anyone who blocks a motor vehicle, attempts to break the windows, tries to open the doors, should be charged with carjacking. In Virginia that crime carries as much as a life sentence.

Sounds like someone needs to put more restrictions on guns. Especially in NYC. Hey, never let a riot go to waste right?

“New Yawk dictionary: anything DumblASSio says = a lie.”

Were his lips moving?

Did he bite his tongue off afterword?

rest assured- this has NOTHING to do with bolshevik bill supporting the NYPD rather it has everything to do with cuomo saying last night he will investigate the actions of the NYPD. They detest each other and deblasio will purposely take the opposite side from cuomo no matter what.

“Surprised to see that deBlasio supports his police officers.”

deBlasio fears the police union more than he fears the protestors.

In the Crown Heights riots Dinkins essentially had the pool lice stand down but then a tape showed up on Ch 2 of cops being forced out of a playground by rock throwing kids. And it wasn’t two cops, it was 10+. Then the PC’s car was overturned. The PC was an import from Houston and had no feeling for his troops. Word spread to the white shirts from the ranks that they would stand down completely, Blue Flu. That and the media images led Dinkins to relent and the word went out to all commands “Take Back the Streets”. But the last two nights are like nothing the NYPD has seen before. It’s violent, widespread, and a blind man could see that it is coordinated.

“It’s inappropriate for protesters to surround a police vehicle and threaten police officers.”

How about: “It’s inappropriate for protesters to surround a vehicle and threaten its occupants .”

Don't be a dope. It was the rioters fault. They descended upon the patrol car and started to attack it. The cop then drove for safety. If the a-holes that were rioting didn't get out of the way, that's on them.

“It’s inappropriate for protesters to surround a police vehicle and threaten police officers. That’s wrong on its face, and that hasn’t happened in the history of protests in this city,” de Blasio said at a press conference in Brooklyn.

So, is he gonna defend regular citizens who also use their vehicle to defend themselves?

I was thinking Tammany Hall days, I’m sure even back then something along these lines happened.

That would be nice. But no, won’t happen. It.l just be labeled “hate crime murder” or whatever needed.

When one riots don’t expect the rules to be for only one side.

Not really. You would need to go back to the Draft Riots of July 1863 that required units from Army of Potomac sent to put it down. In 1857 there was the police riot, a baton wielding fight between Tammany controlled Municipal Police and state controlled Metropolitan Police. The Munis won, forcing the governor to call out the 7th Regt NY Militia to arrest the mayor, Fernando Wood, a very interedting character.
