Stand down, President Trump. This is a state issue. Those folks have the local police, sheriffs, the state police, and the National Guard. Condemn the violence. But let the states handle the mess that they themselves created.

Oh, yes. When it comes to Federal property, I certainly agree with that.
Now Trump himself has said that he vows to stop this rioting.
Why would he wait one second more to stop it? He has given the state officials a chance and they are doing nothing. Every minute that Trump waits is costing him votes. I myself will certainly be voting for him, but in my opinion he is not showing leadership here.

Your Yankee dollars will certainly go far in places like Costa Rica. But as for me, I’m looking for something rural in a conservative state. It has to be close to a good hospital (I’m getting old). But I lso want to see see cows graze from my back porch.
Exactly. It isn’t a federal matter...BUT, the federal officer in Oakland was killed. No further news about that today that I’ve heard.
“NoLibZone” reminds me of the criticism of President Trump on COVID:
* He was too slow acting
* He was too fast acting
* He shouldn’t have shut down travel from China
* He should have shut down travel from China way sooner
* Trump was too slow getting ventilators, testing, PPE, etc, etc in the hands of hospitals and first responders. He was too slow building emergency hospitals.
* Trump wasted money on ventilators, PPE, emergency hospitals, etc (most of the ventilators were not needed. Hospital ships had hardly any patients. Emergency hospitals that were erected are torn down without ever admitting a patient.)

With the riot and crime instigators bringing in people from other states, it becomes a federal matter. Which opened up the door for FBI and other agencies to get involved.
At least this gets the “Trump’s pandemic/depression” BS narrative pretty much over with. These are the traditional presidential election year summer race riots. This will end up getting innocent cops killed but will be no more successful than Barry’s 2016 Black Lies Matter campaign.
