My great uncle and aunt lived in Parklabrea. Gilmore stadium was there, where the Hollywood Stars used to play. Farmers Market not too far from there either. My great-aunt, who was the most prejudiced person you can imagine would not approve of these events.

What kind of “change” are the rioters/protestors demanding? A change in Minneapolis police practices?

The “change” they want, is a Communist America, where everything is free and they can sit home all day long, play video games, and get paid to do so

Andre's, one of my favorite Italian restaurants is in the mall right where this event is taking place. On the other side of Fairfax is Samy's Camera, which would be a prime target for looters as it is full of expensive photographic and computer equipment. Across Third Street in Farmer's Market, Patsy D'Amore's Pizzeria, owned by the same family that ran the famous Villa Capri restaurant in Hollywood, is another favorite Italian eatery of mine. Canter's a famous delicatessen, is on the same block.
