Same here. The first night in MPLS of violent protests, the attitude seemed to be more pro-protester but today I don’t see much of that as people see them looting stores, spray paint any thing they can find, lit buildings or cars on fire, etc. The more sane people will realize this will destroy cities as people wont visit for pleasure, conventions will move, business will close, etc.
The sympathy is real initially but it wears out fast when faced with all the scenes of carnage. That’s when the public opinion swings towards having some ‘law and order’ - however flawed is better than not having any.
