I read an unconfirmed report that as a result of the knockdowns and other issues in the city (inflated Union labor costs to move a box, half of conventions held in Chicago were looking to permanently move to other cities. This should help that along.
One major convention Chicago is losing this year is RSNA.
I exhibit at a convention in Chicago every couple of years and it costs a fortune. Way more than most other cities.
