I’m sure it was auto-correct and he was his own editor. It’s hard to spot things like “heist” or “hoist” when you are scanning your own copy and rushing to get it out. I’m meticulous and it happens too me way to much.
His own editor? Very difficult to catch one’s own mistakes.
