Probably enforcing the mask edict that their mayor was worried about. I feel the way you do...if they are told to stand down, just send them all home. I agree with a lot of FReepers posting tonight. This has gone way over people protesting a death. It is now been taken over by a couple of terrorist organizations that have declared war on the US. The reaction to the destruction is inappropriate and it’s time to nationalize the guard and do what is necessary.
