You are correct again, but broadly, does this not have a “chilling effect”? Will any such call, even if justified, necessarily have to exclude certain demographic information in order to retain one’s employment? And dog?
I think that if she had actually been accosted and was unable to retreat it would not have mattered if she said he was black, brown or white.
I think the video makes it clear that she was not threatened and that she used his race to imply that she was able to lie & be believed because she was white & he was black. I think it was her attitude and using his race as a weapon that is intolerable and got her fired. Without the video Mr Cooper would have been in danger and she would not have faced consequences.
