Even if Chicago isn’t representative, a police force is not something you just adjust in size like an accordion door. It takes time to build a force, especially a quality one, and cutting size should not be done lightly, and certainly not just because Progressives are arguing for it. They’ve been wrong about just about everything for 100+ years. These are, after all, the heirs of the people pushing Eugenics in the 1920s and 1930s for but one example.
Hell of a lot more people than just Progressives want the cops to come to heel. I want to know why so many have military surplus equipment and why there is even a need for SWAT?
I’m schocked to find out criminals didn’t follow the lockdown regulations.
