How Trump lost Ann Coulter

The right-wing rabble-rouser Ann Coulter recently declared at a talk at Columbia University that the President was a “shallow, lazy ignoramus” and that she’s now a former Trumper. “If he doesn’t have us anymore, that’s what he should be worried about,” Coulter later told The New York Times. “He’s not giving us what he promised at every campaign stop.”
Coulter’s defection is significant because she was an early Trump supporter and has long been a leading voice on the fringe where the President’s most ardent followers reside. She stuck with him through the scandalous claims of porn models and the chaos at the White House. But now she’s fed up with his incompetence and feels betrayed — principally on his failure to build the wall.
What a loud-mouthed idiot this woman is. No one, I repeat no one could have done more to get the wall built.
There are two wall progress update sites. Close to 200 miles have been built (187 miles), 450 miles are scheduled to be finished by the end of the year. The fake issue of old vs new has been exposed with pictures of waist-high existing post & wire fence that you can step over. It is disingenuous of Coulter to suggest that the bollard fence is not in effect a whole new wall since the old barrier was completely ineffective. I find myself wondering what got her knickers in a twist since she is so loud & irrational, maybe it’s the only way for her to get attention.

Largest yet: $1.3 billion contract for border wall awarded to Fisher Sand & Gravel!

PHOENIX (AP) A North Dakota construction company favored by President Donald Trump has received the largest contract to date to build a section of Trumps signature wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
Republican U.S. Sen. Kevin Cramer of North Dakota confirmed the $1.3 billion contract for building the 42-mile section of wall through really tough terrain in the mountains in Arizona. Thats about $30 million per mile.
Cramer said Fisher Sand and Gravel Co. offered the lowest price for the project. He did not know how many companies bid. Trump has promised to build 450 miles of wall along the border with Mexico by the end of the year. So far, the government has awarded millions of dollars in contracts for construction of 30-foot-tall barriers, along with new lighting, technology and infrastructure.
