Ann is of the never Trump crowd (except for immigration) faux conservative, Bush league republicans who had a prominent and cushy position (though never believed it) prior to DJT taking on the conservative establishment who were happy with the cocktail party scene and had no intention to lead, and then winning...shes simply a ship with no port trying to stay relevant....same as Kristol, Goldberg, et al...(sounds like a law firm). Time (and history) have passed them by.
Coulter didn't like the Bushes, and didn't like what she called the "girly boys" at National Review.
Whether she was part of the conservative establishment or not is hard to say. She's too erratic to fit into a tidy box like that.
Coulter has a lot in common with Trump, and that may be the problem: her ego is too big and she's too impatient.
