It sort of makes you if the judge was under orders to destroy Flynn. Then when the DOJ stopped the persecution, he accidentally overplayed his hand in his roll to help crucify Flynn. Sounds like he knows he stepped in it and is looking to save his own skin.
I was thinking he was following orders too. He will claim he was just doing what Dear Leader told to do “by the book”.
