"Welcome Noob. I notice you signed up here shortly after the Arbery video was released."

Hey thanks! I've lurked for many years, just signed up to actually participate after being stuck at home for weeks thanks to this useless lockdown. Never really had the time or the inclination before, but for now I'm out of space for woodworking projects. My wife is happy I finally finished all the flower beds though.

I guess we can look forward now to a never ending series of long posts from you related to the Arbery case"

I've mostly been on threads related to Biden's in-progress mental implosion and of course the COVID-19 threads. Posts in the Arbery threads have mainly been to help inform about the facts, link to the videos available, and so on so that discussions are grounded in what we know and not what we might like to believe (one way or the other).

"until the charged are forced to go to trial and ultimately NOT FOUND GUILTY."

I'd be completely fine if a jury found the McMichaels and Bryan not guilty. I'm not looking for blood; I can't say whether the McMichaels or Bryan violated Georgia law with their actions. I can say they violated common sense by going out looking for trouble, but there's nothing necessarily criminal about that.

I just want a fair and impartial trial so all the available evidence can be examined and the law of the state of Georgia applied. If a jury looks at the evidence and listens to the testimony and decides the McMichaels did nothing criminal, they should absolutely be free to go. If a jury decides they broke the law and Arbery died as a result, then whoever among the McMichaels and/or Bryan are criminally responsible should go to prison for it. I don't think that's crazy. It's criminal justice 101.

Well, you might not be looking for blood but you certainly seem to be looking for these folks to be financially devastated—sort of like Michael Flynn has been financially devastated.

One thing I’d suggest is that you develop a very good understanding of the details of self-defense law.
