You still have the right to let the man know your opinion. If my man was being mistreated and done wrong as you obviously believe, I would let my opinion be known.
In Court, when an Attorney strongly disagrees with a ruling by the Judge, he addresses the Judge thusly: Your Honor, I strongly disagree with your ruling. I intend to appeal it to the next level. Or, Your Honor, I take issue with your ruling, I intend to take it to the next level.
But I don't like people screwing up the legal system. This is a political trial, not a process based on law. This is little different from an "opinion poll" indictment, and it is contrary to civil society to indulge in accusing someone of a crime to satisfy members of the public.
