I don’t know.

I am now in the fourth of wearing masks, everywhere.

Except home.

I wear a mask in stores. I don’t want to see the leader of the free world in a mask. It’s time to stare these little dictators down.

This is why I posted this back on April 3, 2020:

OMG what is it with him wearing a mask...

The MSM is trying to manipulate President Trump into creating a "Dukakis in a tank" moment.

I had said that there was probably a decision by President Trump that he would not be photographed wearing a mask, just so that bloggers can't photoshop them to mock him.

Your rights end where my rights begin. It has always been that way in America. Everyone has equal rights but should you infringe on another person’s rights, you lose your rights.

Masks are a catch 22. The ordinary Joe Schmo who dons a mask, does not don a mask to prevent other people from infecting him. No the mask is worn to prevent the infection of other people from him. Masks don’t work. Study after study has come out and said they do not work except the N95 mask. And bandana train robber masks are even worse. A paper towel is better than some masks out there that I have seen and I have seen many homemade masks and bandana masks.

So this brings us to the catch-22 if me not wearing a mask does not infringe upon your right to wear a mask does that mean I am infringing on your rights? The mask’s sole purpose is to prevent you from infecting other people not the other way around. So if I can prove I do not have the virus do I have to wear a mask? If I choose not to wear a mask, what infringement of rights am I committing against another’s rights? The catch-22 is that the purpose of the mask is reversed but people think it is for the opposite, to keep from catching the virus. So if I wear no mask and I do not have the virus, I therefore cannot spread the virus and therefore I am not harming anyone so I am not infringing on anyone else’s rights and thus cannot be seen to be breaking the law.

On the other hand if I do not wear the mask and catch the virus, whose fault is that? The person wearing the mask that spread the virus or me who did not wear the mask, knowing the mask commonly bought by a layperson does not work according to scientific study. Should a restaurant be sued because the mask didn’t work properly? Unequivocally the answer is no. Because the restaurant. assuming took all preventions, could not be responsible for airborne guests in which they cannot see at all times. If there was rats making the soup like Rat-a-touille then just maybe but that was a cartoon and some to near all of this is reminiscent of a cartoon.

Can we just call Acme yet? Because the Princess Bride logic just confuses everyone.

I haven’t worn one yet but I typically have an N95 mask with me somewhere… in the bottom of my hardhat, in a backpack, on the seat of the car. I took one with me when I last flew (mid-March) just in case I had to sit close to someone whose health looked sketchy. I figure that even if I chose not to wear one, I should at least have one available if I figure the situation warrants it. Typically though, if I get asked about not wearing one I respond with a “Sheeesh, I’ve been told repeatedly that the WuFlu is sooo contagious and we’re all going to eventually get it…. so I’m actually been trying real hard to catch i9t so I can get it out of the way before summer arrives and then that way my immune system will be all set when that second and third wave hits us.” That usually ends the discussion right there.

The media needs to emerge from their basements and get some fresh air and away from their silly gas.
