How did he get different shoes?
He’s got the same clothes on, but instead he has boots on.
Are his old shoes in the house?
Arbery seems quite shady to me.
I’ve been monitoring the news pretty closely, and oddly enough, I have not seen a single incident of any black jogger being shot by a white guy, anywhere in the united states, other than this single incident from February.
I thought this was a national pandemic, that blacks were cowering in their houses, afraid to strap on running shoes.
But yesterday, I saw a half-dozen minority men jogging down the street at various times, and not one of them looked to be glancing around nervously waiting for shots to ring out.
I don’t think he was guilty of anything. His trespassing was something that would have at worst gotten him a warning; there is no evidence that, on that particular day, he had robbed anything from anybody.
And while you can argue over whether the son should be charged with murder for fighting with Arbery over the gun Arbery was trying to steal from him, I don’t think Arbery would have been charged with assault had he gotten the gun, and held the two men there until police arrived.
