Pritzker's behavior might mean that people like us won't vote for him, but the sort of people who voted for him in 2018 will vote for him as long as he is a Democrat. The dem base, at least in Illinois, is accustomed to having a ruling class that clearly thinks it is superior to the dem base.

Prirtzker will be governor as long as he wants to keep running, or until he is indicted, or if he steps in front of FDR and takes a bullet meant for the other guy. That last one is how Cermak Avenue in Chicago got its name.

I contend he will be primaried by another Illinois democrap. And Pritzker will lose.

I have very little hope that Chicago will elect a Republican, cause whatever Chicago votes, Illinois gets.
