When a coronavirus vaccine becomes available in the United States, the federal government and states will face a crucial choice: Should all or most residents be required to get the novel coronavirus vaccine?
Or should it be required only for school children, with a medical exception allowed, and for groups like front-line health-care workers? Some officials might want few or no requirements at all because they think enough people are likely to get the vaccine voluntarily or have immunity from an infection to halt the spread of the disease.
But in states like Oklahoma, efforts to require and promote the vaccine could run into strong headwinds.

Yes they are. They are specifically rushing this vaccine, instead of the normal 1.5 year testing.
Nor do they do a long-term study to determine if it causes cancer or other health risks.
They will not force us to take it. Trump made that clear.

So which is it? Are they going to force you to take it or not?
Your reading comprehension is slipping.
Yes, they are rushing the vaccine.
No, it will not be mandatory.

Your memory is slipping. First you say “they are”, then you say “they won’t”. Which is it?
Both DD.
If you’ve had the vaccine, then my not getting it is not endangering you cause you are immune.
Unless you aren’t really sure it works after all.
YOU’RE trying to force us to take it.
I have no doubt others will too.
a) Most vaccines are NOT made using cell lines originating from abotions. Influenza, for example, is NOT made this way. And in the US, the FDA has approved perfectly safe, effective, ethical alternatives to the vaccines that do utilize stem cells derived from abortions (which were performed in the 1960s) for everything except Hepatitis A. This is extremely well documented and it’s pure conspiracy theory nonsense to claim otherwise. The Vatican has provided a full list of all vaccines utilizing stem cells from abortions to help people avoid purchasing or using those particular vaccines.
b) My problem is not with God. God gave us brains so we could develop tools (like vaccines) to help us survive in our environment. I celebrate the brain God gave us to help us improve our survival. What I don’t do is blindly wander through the world expecting and demanding that God keep me alive. DT 6:16: “You shall not put the LORD, your God, to the test”. God helps those who help themselves. I’m going to help myself to a healthy dose of vaccine for each disease where an ethically sourced option is available, both to help myself and my neighbor.
c) “None of your relatives before your great grandparents ever received a single vaccination, yet they lived.”
Actually, they didn’t. Two of my grandparents actually died of smallpox. My aunt had polio as a child and could barely walk most of her life, until she couldn’t walk at all before her death. The fact that many people were able to have some children before they died of disease doesn’t change the fact that diseases killed hundreds of millions of people.
If you had the power today to outlaw the smallpox and polio vaccines, knowing those diseases would return to kill and maim hundreds of millions of people, would you do so?
Vaccines aren’t 100%. Neither is getting a disease. The human immune system is not perfect and sometimes diseases change enough to make previous immunity less effective or completely useless.
My concern would not be for myself, but rather for everyone who can’t get a vaccination because of a specific allergy (allergies to eggs are a common problem for certain vaccines like the flu shot) or because they’re immunocompromised. We’re talking here about millions of Americans who have cancer, or who have HIV/AIDS, or who have autoimmune disorders that require immunosuppressants to keep them alive, or who are simply too young for vaccines (vaccines are spread out with children over the course of years). You also have people at the hospital who may have been vaccinated against a particular disease, but whose immune systems are so weak because of whatever has them in the hospital that it wouldn’t matter. Someone who chose not to get vaccinated comes in with a preventable disease, it spreads to the person who’s clinging to life, their immune system is ineffective, and they die.
I am NOT in favor of force vaccination. But I also think it’s selfish and irresponsible to refuse to get vaccinated, understanding that any person of good moral character who studies the issue will want to avoid vaccines that utilize stem cells derived from abortion. Thankfully, vaccines exist from ethical sources for everything except Hepatitis A in the US. For anyone who has questions about which ones to avoid, the Vatican has a list of the bad ones.

Review your posts and get your story straight. You said: “They are trying to make us take it.”
Personally, I believe it’s up to you to decide to take it or not. I also believe there should be consequences if you choose to selfishly endanger your fellow countrymen.
I only have a problem with coercion, and using aborted children. I would never stop anyone from pursuing their path of health. I ask the same for my family.
Please cite where I stated that I was worried about insurance,
Ill wait.
Once again, thank you.
His imagination is running wild.
I couldn’t disagree more with your decision and your reasoning, but I firmly stand by my conviction that it is yours to make. I hope you can keep an open mind and reconsider as new information becomes available.

IIRC, I asked if your immune system was so good and if the virus wasn’t lethal, why should you be worried?
What other leftist tripe are you going to type up next? Will it be Well, if it saves just one childs life.
How about you stay in your home living in fear and let the rest of us Americans live our lives in freedom? Quit trying to justify your pathetic love of nanny-state socialism.

You can’t seem to avoid making strawman arguments.
“Nobody with two working brain cells would be willing to sit locked in their house, jobless, and starving to death for a year until they might invent a vaccine, that is for damn sure.”
Another strawman.
wildcard_redneck wrote: “...if the government can control your body, can you really claim be a free person?”
You do realize how strange it is for a self-proclaimed conservative to parrot pro-abortion logic?, ie, ‘It’s my body and I’ll get an abortion if it’s convenient.’
You are mistaken, I am absolutely antiabortion and I considered it to be murder. The cold in the womb is another person, its own person, with a soul. Your control-freak nature projects your own diseased thoughts onto me. To you people are just cattle to be controlled. What I said is that if the government can force you to undergo a medical procedure that you object to then you are nothing but a slave. If you cannot control what others do to your body then you are not free.
Try to wrap your mind around that - if you can.

I see you’ve given up on strawmen and have switched to ad hominem.

I know you’re pro-life. The point is if the ‘it’s my body’ argument is valid for anti-vaccine, then it’s also valid for pro-choice.
