That’s a staggering statistic. That amounts to about 20% of all their deaths. Think about this for a moment. This isn’t all old people, this is old people in nursing homes only. What percentage of the overall population is that? And yet they represent 20% of the deaths?

Thanks for taking the time to look at and analyze these deaths caused by liberal governors.

We may have a similar scene and on a lower scale in California. With a lot less deaths, but still most deaths coming from nursing homes, rest homes and retirement homes.

People with family members or friends in these homes, have not been able to see in person, hold, kiss or hug them since 14 March. This is for any person even without the Corona-19 in these places.

Please remember this is happening in California.

Most of the deaths come from folks who are in Nursing Homes and already have high BP issues, Diabetes, or other big health issues. It is really sad but this virus will attack the lungs and the lungs get filled up with liquid and it is a slow death, unfortunately.

It is killing a lot of folks who are 70 years of age and older and not in really good health.

Your post made me go check the NJ dashboard because I didn't know you could get that data. I'm also in a southern NJ county with similar numbers. My town doesn't publish death stats so not sure how many died here but I do know from the state data that in my county 191 of 262 deaths (73%) were in assisted living locations. And I also know that 90(!) of those 191 were in my town. That's 34% of all deaths in my entire county are from just the assisted living centers in my town. Good lord it's an epidemic here for those particular people.

Full disclosure: I have a brother in a long term care facility, not because he's old but because he's disabled. It's worrisome.

We can’t visit anyone in California in one of these homes or even a hospital.

A friend needed an emergency gall bladder surgery about 10 days ago. His wife dropped him off at the ER Entrance and did not see him until he was released 5 days later. Then, they rolled him back out to the ER parking lot. They put him in her car, and she drove home with him.

Monday a friend will have knee surgery at a different hospital. His wife, and RN who worked at that hospital will drop him off at a special drop off and say good bye. She will pick him up the next morning. At the same place that she dropped him off.

How many of us, who have had knee surgery and didn’t go home that same day in the past decade?

I had one a decade ago done by the same doctor, and I had dinner that night at home.

The next day, I was walking with my walking sticks. One week latter I got the stitches out and started pt.
