Yes, please. The less they do, the better for America. Go home, quarantine yourselves, and don’t even worry about July 21... take more time if you need it.
They will spend the 2 months campaigning for NOV election victories. Let us not forget that 23 GOP Senate Seats are up, and only 12 Dem Senate seats. They only need 3 to take over, and the races in AZ, NC, CO, and ME are all looking tight or bad for the GOP incumbents... and some say that GA is in play for them as well. The only likely flip of a Dem seat is in Alabama. If all of those take place, it is a Democrat Congress.
And if they somehow lie and cheat and steal and commit fraud enough, we could have a Democrat (no idea if it will be Biden, even now) in the White House as well. We are THAT close to the ultimate nightmare, and preparing for massive Republican civil disobedience.
(We need a +20 in the House to take it back, and goodness only knows what the odds are on that.)
Doesn’t make much sense to me. If it was prior to elections, maybe. Additionally, this wouldn’t release D senators to sneak in some extra campaigning, but only house congresscritters , admittedly trying to cling to their only portion of power in DC. Again, better done in Sept. / October.
Mail in voting appears to be their holy grail, and this doesn’t advance that agenda, but would only delay it to the point of too late, impossible.
Maybe it’s a case of Occam’s Razor, The most obvious answer may be: Ds really are that stupid.
Will they stop campaigning? Will they stop fundraising? Maybe they could be assigned reading some of the bills that they have passed or tried to pass. Then each Congress critter could explain that part to the American people. Maybe even take a few questions on that section. Better yet, explain how each section is allowed under the US Constitution.
Don’t pay these anti-American slackers and their loser staff during their vacay.
She and her criminal family should be isolated in prison cells for their many crimes.
Drawback!!! We end up with budget by continuing resolution, but most likely the same budget as this year
