I think this little judicial gambit — and that’s what it is — is an effort to keep Flynn under a cloud so that they can soften the impact of what is going to come out as the administration releases all the relevant documents. Heck, they might think that they can stop that process.
Look what has been accomplished. Obama has been smoked out of his retirement and he looks shaken. Before this is over his reputation will be worse than Richard Nixon’s. But I would caution everyone that there will still be some minimum percentage of Obama-supporters who will always believe in the guy. Those of us who are old enough probably had relatives who didn’t think Nixon did anything wrong.
