When Flynn pled guilty to making false statements to the FBI he had no idea that the entire government investigation was not legitimate, only the government would’ve known that. Which means Flynn did not commit perjury in making his plea deal. He never actually committed a crime but he had no way of knowing that at the time of his plea deal.
Perjury requires that you knew that the statement was false when you made it.
Oh I think he knew. He’s an upright man. He recognizes bullshit when he sees it. Who wouldn’t try to save his son up against the weight of the world? May God Bless Michael Flynn. Please.
What I find interesting is that they are going after a man who had to be tricked into making statements that were twisted into lies, and yet..... most of our politicians , whether on live TV or in court, will lie repeatedly at the drop of a hat.
