Back in the 1980s, I applied to work on a top secret government program. Before receiving a security clearance, I was extensively interviewed, as were some of my neighbors as they investigated my past. I specifically remember being questioned about any ties to communism or the Soviet Union. If I had told them I voted for Gus Hall, I doubt if I would have received a clearance (not worth the risk). It is interesting Brennan eventually became the Directory of the CIA, probably because of this ties to communism, not in spite of it.

Why it’s easy for Obama and Brennan to lie to us. Muslims believe you can lie to non-believers.
