I think the point was years of life impacted, not just total numbers. Take the estimated years of life ended by the actual virus and compare to the total years of life lost by suicide, drug addiction, stress induced health decline from economic stress, etc.
well 10.5 years * 80,000 deaths = 804,000 years.
Times 90 = 72,000,000 years cut short from the temporary anxiety of the shutdown.
