As a jogger I have often stopped at homes under construction to take a pee. That was in the old days before it was required to have a portable toilet outside. Now every house has a portable toilet even before construction starts. Could he have gone in to relieve himself? Dont know if theres a portable toilet at that location. Jogging has its own set of dangers that I was always aware that some folks might think I was up to no good for running down their street.
If you look at the video, there is one prominently in place right in front of the house St. Arbery entered.
But it is no fun to do any research before posting.

I have gone into houses under construction. But I have always walked in and walked out. Running out is suspicious in an of itself.
If anyone read the DA's letter, everything the McMichaels did was legal. Which is why there was no arrest at the time. And, I think Arbery had a significant criminal record. Will this come in at trial. Maybe. The older McMichael was retired LE and would have had access to Arbery's criminal records.
So, quite possibly, they know that Arbery has been armed in the past, has a criminal record for exactly what the suspect him of and they are in hot pursuit. Not an easy win for a prosecutor. The defense only has to convince one of 12 that there was no crime.
There was a porta potty seen on the video, Arbery did not approach it. Also, another video has emerged showing Arbery looking around inside the house. Whether the shooting was justified will have to be determined by a jury. But I think the evidence is very clear that Arbery was not “out for a jog.”
He walked right by the port o potty and into the house.
