Read the book by Nigel Tranter. I have it on Scotsman’s word that Braveheart was entertaining but historical “tosh” as he said it. Tranter, in contrast, is accurate as a novelization goes. Long book, I should warn you.

“By land and sea” needs to add Air force. Also, current Scots leadership is disappointing.

Just about all the details were wrong but the basic story is accurate.

"Shame Time Team is no more."
Very true, but BBC's "Digging for Britain" is another great series that visits the various digs that have been taking place, throughout the different regions of the U.K., in a given year, and highlights the best of them:
Digging For Britain
There are episodes available on YouTube, and on public torrent sites that can be safely downloaded because they're not aired in the U.S.

According to my Ancestry.com family tree, Robert the Bruce is supposed to be my 20th Great-Grandfather, but who knows for sure. It’s anybody’s guess.

People have living there for a few thousand years...
Why do they not know where they put things?
Someone owns that property, why do they not know what is there? The tax accessors know. Do they not walk their own place?
