The San Luis Obispo County court filing is the first official public record confirming she made allegations at that time.
A court document from 1996 shows former Senate staffer Tara Reade told her ex-husband she was sexually harassed while working for Joe Biden in 1993.
The declaration — exclusively obtained by The Tribune in San Luis Obispo, California — does not say Biden committed the harassment nor does it mention Reade’s more recent allegations of sexual assault.
Reade’s then-husband Theodore Dronen wrote the court declaration. Dronen at the time was contesting a restraining order Reade filed against him days after he filed for divorce, Superior Court records show.
In it, he writes Reade told him about “a problem she was having at work regarding sexual harassment, in U.S. Senator Joe Biden’s office.”
It appears to be the only written record that has surfaced from the time that substantiates Reade shared her account in the years following the alleged incident, though a former neighbor came forward last week about similar conversations she said she had with Reade in 1995.

My understanding is that she has said any record found will say “sexual harassment”. She says that only later did she publicly say it was sexual assault.
If the Lefties had had something like THIS on Kavanaugh, their heads would have exploded.

No. This document is from 1996 and historically proves Reade talked about biteme’s sexual harassment at that time. She later, as is typical of rape victims, was able to articulate that she had been penetrated by biteme. That is known as sexual assault/rape.

It documents that she reported sexual harassment while working in Biden’s office, to her husband back in 1996, and that it led to her leaving her position in the office. By Democrat standards, this should be all they need to condemn Biden, since they had no evidence against Kavanaugh, other than a letter Ford wrote to Congress 20+ years after the fact.
I'm not sure I'm the one with reading comprehension issues. It's right there "sexual harassment in U.S. Senator Joe Biden's office." No sexual assault. Not sexual harassment by Biden. Her story has been changing.
Sexually assault is a form of sexual harassment.
In mathematical terms, "sexual assault" is contained in the set "sexual harassment".

What, that she told someone about it? Ford had people say she had told them as well. In both cases you have allegations that are decades old without any police reports to support them or evidence to back the claims up. I don't see where Reade's claim is any more substantial than Ford's was.
This document shows that her livelihood was effected by the harassment since that was the reason she left the job, and that she needed help with room and board until she could get another job.
