The mainstream media is propaganda. You’re fairly safe in believing, on a general level, the opposite of what they tell you.

And you are correct, the MSM can often be used as a contra indicator. I don’t look to them when I can just consider them irrelevant in my decision making process. I refuse to give them any influence either way.
