While my inner troll is delighting in Tara Reade exposing the moral bankruptcy of Democrats’ phony “Believe all women” stance only when political enemies are accused, I am a skeptic. And I fear that her efforts will help the Dem establishment in pulling the plug on Biden, whose declining mental capacity cannot be hidden for the nearly 6 months of presidential campaigning ahead.
Make no mistake: rushing to deny the nomination to Bernie Sanders by backing Biden was a colossal blunder. Shooing his rivals out of the race enabled a big Super Tuesday delegate harvest for Biden, but because the media failed to alert them to Biden’s true mental decline, the powers-that-be accidentally backed a loser, not a “safe” known commodity.
Last night, Tucker Carlson focused on the problems with Reade’s changing story, noting her enthusiastic backing for Bernie Sanders, and the troubling timing of her charges. The entire 6 minute segment and a rush transcript are embedded below, but the most serious issue is:
…before Joe Biden started beating Bernie Sanders in the primary, Tara Reade wasn’t attacking Joe Biden, instead she had effusively positive things to say about him. In 2017, Tara Reade repeatedly praised Joe Biden for his work against sexual assault. At one point Reade wrote “My old boss speaks the truth.”

It’s definitely much more credible than Chrissie Blasey Fraud’s story.
I believe all women should be respected and heard and their stories should be thoroughly investigated. That’s how you show them respect and show respect for the seriousness of the charges.
In this case, a full and fair examination requires looking at the Senate personnel records and the University of Delaware documents. The National Archives says it has no documents from Biden’s office.
If Biden is innocent, why not let a bipartisan group of respected investigators look at all those records, looking for anything on Tara Reade, and put it to bed once and for all?
Come on, man, what are you afraid of?

If it’s a “beyond a reasonable doubt” standard, I’m not there yet. If it’s a “preponderance of evidence” standard, I think Tara Reade has met that, unless the records Biden doesn’t want anyone looking at can exculpate him.
His staff has been rifling through the Delaware documents, apparently for close to a year, on and off. My bet is that they did a Sandy Berger on any documents mentioning Tara Reade or anyone else who might come forward, with the University’s full approval.

In August 1993, the very month Tara Reade's employment with Biden ended, and from San Luis Obispo, where Reade's mother was living at the time.
And she said her daughter "just left there."
It's unlikely that those are all coincidences.

That sounds about right. It was likely to be something more than what Joe has been photographed doing, but the "penetration" may have been an exaggeration. "Joe grabbed me and felt me up" might just have gotten a "So what?" response, so she likely embellished the story, but I think something did happen.
