‘Principled socialists? Is that not an oxymoron?
I do notice that the left keeps trying to slap lipstick on The Bride of Frankenstein and turn her into a trophy wife. Hence, the nonsensical claptrap being spouted, like “Democratic socialism is COMPLETELY different from Marxist socialism.”
I keep asking them to relieve me of my ignorance and explain the differences. To date, no takers.
One important thing we must all do is read M Stanton Evans’ book, *Blacklisted by History*. It’s the truth about Senator Joe McCarthy, which every conservative should know. None of us should ever use that name as an invective.
The book also lays out, with good sourcing and precision exactly how the communist infiltration of America began and progressed. Mandatory reading. At least once.
In the 1960s, if you accused someone of being a *communist*, you became an object of ridicule. Today, *communism* is openly embraced. Thank Bill Ayers and a teachers’ union.
Most of you are probably too young to recall Kruschev’s prediction about *without firing a shot.*. Some of the grownups of that era were well aware that he was on to something. They just had no activism in them.
