The only people I’ve heard about getting haircuts are politicians. These shutdowns are such utter BS. They are crony capitalism at its finest. Why can Costco sell watches and jewelry but a jewelry store can’t be open? Why can a grocery store sell wine and beer? How is that essential? It discrimination against the businesses that are closed. Why does the state think that people will obey social distancing in Costco or Sams Club by staying 6 feet apart, but won’t do it at Best Buy? Its insanity. Its Dem governors, in particular, getting off on authoritarianism. Let barber shops open. Let hair stylists open. Those people need money to support their families. If the population is worried they will catch Wuhan virus from getting a haircut, they won’t go. Its that simple.

“The only people I’ve heard about getting haircuts are politicians.”

Please do not think for a moment that politicians enjoy getting haircuts during this situation. In fact, politicians find getting haircuts quite unpleasant. But, as one explained, “”I’m the public face of this city,” she said in defense of the haircut. “I’m on national media, and I’m out in the public eye.” So you see, they’re really doing it for your benefit, not theirs.
