You're probably right, but here's the problem with your scenario:

1. No matter what his legal counsel advises him to do, HE is ultimately responsible for any sworn statements he makes. This approach where Freepers treat the guy like he's a minor who can't be held responsible for his signed documents is actually pathetic, and doesn't speak well of Flynn at all.

2. Flynn hired a law firm where Obama mutant Eric Holder is a partner. Any intelligent person on this website would have been smart enough to steer clear of that sh!t.

I still find myself asking this question over and over again: Was this guy REALLY cut out to be the National Security Adviser?

He was slow witted in allowing that particular pack of wolves to determine and steer his fate.

For that reason, showing poor judgement, I agree he was not cut out to be in the position he was placed.

Regards the nefarious council actions, his gullibility does not carry as much weight.

The council's actions should not be allowed or accepted, based on the client's judgmental capabilities.

Sullivan needs to have them on the carpet, then mirandize them, then commence prosecution for willful impediment of lawful proceedings, and an abridgment of client's constitutional rights. (is there a code for this? :-) )

So tell me, when he pled guilty, did he have access to the documents he has access to now? No, he didn’t. It was his word against the FBI, and guess how that goes. Now he can show the FBI lied. He couldn’t show that before. You like to send men to the slaughter unarmed? Then call them a coward when they opt to protect their family?
