While many Americans are hopeful things will go back to normal by summertime, one leading health expert is not so sure the nation will be out of the woods by then.
Dr. Deborah Birx, leading health expert and member of the coronavirus task force, believes social distancing guidelines will be with the nation through the summer.
“Social distancing will be with us through the summer to really ensure that we protect one another as we move through these phases,” Birx said.

I am usually an optimist, but with each passing day where I see people in power trying to push the goalposts back in an attempt to achieve their own political ends, I find myself feeling that Trump is the only person in power who seems to get it, to understand we have to get back to work.
On the other side are scum who see this as a political opportunity, and are willing to see us go down the tubes because it is the only political chance they have , so they are grasping at it with both hands.
Am afraid, but not of this stinking virus. I am genuinely afraid f what the future may bring if we allow this to go on.

This virus didn't warrant the destruction of the economy to bring it to its knees.
The damage done by the experts, so called, Fauci and Birx have nearly turned this country in their vision of socialist heaven.
This has ruined a lot of businesses, destroyed lives and the social damage, some of which will never recover. As you may see, I am angry.
I complied 100% with the 40 days of quarantine in CA that began March 16th. I didn’t leave my house by car for 40 days (just 1 hour walk a day with my dog around my neighborhood). I got all groceries 100% delivered.
At the 40 day mark, I now let my teens go see their friends, and had my in-laws over for dinner, and my friends (2 only) over for dinner—and only outside. I’m loosening up. It’s time—regardless of what the “shelter-in-place” laws/rules are. 40 days is enough. I’ve done my part. And a quarantine by definition is 40 days.
In my middle class suburban neighborhood, the last couple of days, there’s been parties, music, kids playing together in the street. Nobody wearing masks. Neighbors visiting each other.
Very little concern. I know one person who was diagnosed positive. He had very few symptoms and spent his quarantine fixing up his house.
He supposed to go back to work tomorrow.
People are fed up with the scare tactics of the lefty politicians. The nearby beaches have been packed. If it’s herd immunity we need, then we’re going to get it. Better that than 365 days of house arrest.
Let’s see her survive without a paycheck.
