A paid vacation is a paid vacation.
It does not matter if it is caused by a virus or an invasion from Mars!
;-)
Have ICE do a couple home raids - they will then revolt over making illegals into sitting ducks...
Yup. It looks like a very nice beach day there in californication
I’m sure many of those who want the lockdown to continue are hardcore leftists, Hollywood types, and those who with state and government handouts are making more money than when they were working, if they were actually working before the shutdown.
The girl in the bikini playing catch/ keep away is hot.

Yes, she looks fine...
A nice picture of Huntington Beach...It is just like some hot day in July...
Mayor of Laguna Beach actually asked Orange County Supervisors to close ALL Orange County beaches...Supervisors did not listen to that mayor...A good decision...OC County Board of Supervisors are controlled by GOP...
Nice thong.
These polls are so easy to slant. All they had to do was target the elderly.
This makes no sense. Low-income people are the ones most likely to live paycheck-to-paycheck, and they are least likely to have jobs they can do from home.
I think they are using "low-income" as code for welfare queens.
We interviewed 170 people in our newsroom (staff members and family members each day for six days in a row, 1020 interviews) and found sentiment remarkably stable. Keep the order for as long as it is needed!
“It is historically inevitable!”
“The wheel of history is turning!”
Need you wonder any further why California is in the condition it’s in. The leaders of the Animal Farm have created their perfect students.
They are. There’s a whole new class of litter on the ground: rubber gloves and face masks, joining the already common McDonald’s packaging, Starbuck’s cups and losing lottery tickets.
Yeah but wait til you see her face.
I’d like to see where and how the polling was conducted here. My guess is that it was a few thousand people in the Los Angeles area. In the ENTIRE Bay Area, about 7,500 cases have been confirmed to date. Compare that to the 19,000 cases just in LA County alone.
Of course, the people down south want to stay in their caves for now. As long as Gruesome and the Gov’mint is paying...
I’m seeing the same thing in Mountain View in the Bay Area. I can hear the traffic hum from the freeways and roads at night — it was completely gone a month ago. Yesterday almost all the on-street parking at the Shoreline Park in Mountain View was taken at 3 pm. A month ago I was one of three or four cars parked there. The street parking can probably accommodate 50 - 60 cars. The trails have a LOT more people on them whereas a month ago I had the parks to myself.
indeed~
most people will try to give some deference to politicians (even those they don’t like so long as they’re in office)... and we saw people “obeying” the politicians’ initial requests or “orders” to “voluntarily” go home and stay there
but,
1. time goes by and people grow weary of just about anything after awhile
2. people cannot see viruses, the claimed danger is invisible and thusly not in sight
3. people have learned that serious harm or fatalities associated with the virus are almost entirely confined to persons of a limited more-vulnerable segment (elderly folks who are already weakened by immunological deficiencies or heart disease or diabetes, etc.),
4. people have noted now that perhaps 95% of cases are either asymptomatic or else are no worse than normal colds or seasonal flu, indeed those with symptoms usually find their condition indistinquishable from normal colds or seasonal flu. (indeed, there have been numerous press releases, some from qualified medical people, trying to advise how to do a differential diagnosis - the symptoms are so similar in at least many cases). People without symptoms grow impatient with being ‘cooped up needlessly’ (although there’s evidence that some asymptomatic folks can still transmit the virus - this is not something the individual can see or feel or sense in any way, it appears to be no different than any other/normal day in life)
4. people have things they need to do, errands they need to complete, places they have or wish to go, and yes, plans they hope pursue
5. many people cannot afford to be rendered unemployed, even with unemployment if they qualify and can get it, and even with the special added welfare cheques some are now being provided. other folks do not like living on welfare or welfare-equivalent type handouts
6. many people are realizing that their jobs may not still be there for them if they are locked out for much longer. That, as more and more businesses and industries have to “go under” without hope of re-opening, their employees’ jobs are disappearing forever, too
7. many folks are realizing that the nation’s economy is being dealt a very serious blow, and that much of it will be difficult to recover with any rapidity, speed. A recovery may well be quite slow, indeed, or at least certain sectors or regions may experience a long, protracted slump (with employment recovery at a slow pace)
8. some people are getting quite resentful of the politicians’ orders, particularly when the politicians continue to be ‘employed’ (their jobs haven’t been terminated, alas!?) while “normal working Americans’” jobs have been interrupted, terminated, or will/may be terminated within the foreseeable future if this Lockdown is permitted to continue. This appears to many now as a serious “Let them Eat Cake” situation, and we all recall learning how that ended up (with the bloody French revolution, alas)
I do not have an answer, except a hope.. a hope that the politicians end this Lockdown ASAP...and let people have their (supposed-protected) liberties back. Liberties to get on with their lives and to try, where possible at least, to rebuild their businesses and/or get back to work. And to go to church. And, yes, to go to the beach or park, too. Normal life in a recovered, or at least recovering and “free” America.
In other news, Sheep love to graze while the Sheepdog protects them.
Once gone, the only way out of slavery is bloodshed. More of theirs than ours.
Confirmed in San Diego county...more cars and activity seen.
