The New York State antibody study shows a 13% infection rate, details will be out later today but Cuomo said it at his press conference 20 minutes ago. NYS has 20mm people so that’s 2.6mm infections. NYS has reported 20,792 Covid19 deaths (I now the flubros are going to say most of these were shark attacks LOL)
20,792/2,600,000 is .8%, at least 8 times higher than seasonal flu. And there’s so much more! The seasonal flu death rate of .1% is not based on infections, it is based on SYMPTOMATIC CASES and 75% of flu infections don’t cause symptoms. The Infection fatality rate for the flu, as opposed to the Case fatality rate, is therefore .025%. Covid19 is 32 times as deadly.
