Very true, but oil demand will not return to normal levels for a long time. Demand is down 40%, I believe, which is a strong indicator that the economy is in a true depression. I don't think this will just pick up like magic when everything opens back up.

There has to be businesses to go back to and many won't open back up. I think the economy has been absolutely destroyed.

I am in Northern Virginia and you would think the proximity to Washington, DC would ensure a soft landing with all the many fed workers and contractors. However, I listened to a local economist who estimated that 30 to 40% of small businesses and 50% of restaurants will not reopen when this is over. He was referring only to Northern Virginia. If true, and it rings true, this is a catastrophe. People are already going hungry and the food lines are long - soon to be called bread lines by the media.

Will Trump get reelected? I think it all depends on the Dem nominee. If Biden is as feeble minded as he seems, Trump might be able to get over the goal line, but the election will only be about Covid and its aftermath - nothing else matters.
