Remember, Democrats advertise themselves as the “big tent” party. They point to the number of blacks, hispanic etc that belong to the party. But, they are big tent only to the aspect that they all think alike. Republicans are the big tent party when it comes to diversity of ideas.
As long as the "diverse" ideas are not too conservative, or God forbid, too constitutional.
