Michael Moore is worried about Earth, although he's not focused on fossil fuel and cow farts. Instead, he's worried because he just discovered that green energy is a scam. That's the point in his new documentary, Planet of the Humans, which was released Tuesday for free on YouTube. In a long and poorly written introduction on the YouTube page, the people who made the video explain that the green revolution could have worked out if only the whole movement hadn't sold itself out to the rich and powerful, resulting in a sham and a scam.

Moore illustrates the bubble in which greenies float. If he'd had intellectual curiosity, he would have known that electric cars get power from natural gas, oil, or coal (some of which is clean burning and some not), which means they merely displace vehicle emissions from the tailpipe to the power plant. Electric car batteries, most of which come from China, are also big polluters, as are the Chinese-made solar panels that worry Moore.

Conservatives have made this point forever, but Michael Moore, the "intellectual" progressive documentary filmmaker, just figured it out. The man is a moron, not because he's stupid, but because he wears ideologically tinted intellectual blinders.
If you think Moore's ignorance is the worst thing about him, think again. Moore still buys into the whole apocalyptic anthropogenic climate change shtick. Even the dangerously wrong Wuhan virus models haven't taught him that climate change models might be wrong, too. Climate change is a faith, and one doesn't question the dogma.
Rather than becoming a climate change apostate, Moore has come up with a new solution. If we can't cut down on pollution, we just have to cut down on humans:

His next movie should be the Lorax starring Nancy Pelosi.
If they had just stuck with “Think Globally, Act Locally” I would have understood, acting in good stewardship of God’s Gift of Creation. What it has become is a travesty however.
Michael Moore stumbles and tremors were felt many states away.
"I assumed solar panels would last for ever. I didn't know what went into the making of them," Moore added,
An Moore is supposed to be a "deep thinker" on the left. He is a very good propagandist and scam artist, when he is supported by almost the entire old media.
He cannot discredit the whole "man made climate change" hoax, it would discredit his entire life.
‘Michael Moore’ sounds like a very common name... surely there is more than one of them out there making ‘documentaries’, no?
Not sure of the quality of the resulting mulch.
And those “solar panels” certainly don’t “last forever” either!
Yes, they physically sit on top of their stands (which rust and corrode easily) as glass panels “forever” but their power output degrades quickly from 100% initial power down to about 87% in the first few months exposure , then slowly down even more from 87% to 60% - 70% over the next 15-20 years.
After 20 years? They will drop off more as the surface films and coatings degrade rapidly - but - frankly, we don’t have the new lifetime studies yet to know what really happens with these latest Chinese-quality solar panels. The original lifetimes reports are from US-made Silicon Valley and NASA-quality panels first made in the mid-70’s.
Like the 1970’s -era windmills, they have not been up in the air with little maintenance long enough in enough numbers to really say: 25-30 years as their proponents claim? 7-10 years as skeptics expect?
Remember! ONLY construction and fabrication have been subsidized by all of these wind power government grants and tax breaks! Routine maintenance and servicing (required every two years by very, very expensive technicians and cranes and groups under very dangerous and uncomfortable conditions, can be delayed for a while, but the maintenance MUST BE done eventually. Also, as wind farms get sold and transferred, the original owners are replaced by corporate counters and accountants: ANd those are notorious for not planning ahead and for maximizing quick turn-over profits.
Inside, the power regulators, inverters, batteries, and battery chargers are like all big electronics: 12-15 years if you are lucky. Batteries are 3-4 years; never more than 4.
It is time to require that all components of wind and solar installations be recyclable, combustible or compostable. And insist on complete life cycle analyses of all “renewable” installations, including all components of their supply chains, before permitting them. Sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander.
oooohhh.....this is beautiful
Wind energy is the next scam I’d love to see destroyed.
Real world experience with my Sunpower panels installed in early 2015.
2015 - 7295 kWh
2016 - 7088 kWh
2017 - 7073 kWh
2018 - 6587 kWh
2019 - 6874 kWh
94% output after 5 years. Possibly higher given fluctuations in cloud cover in Northern California.
Will they last forever? NO
Will they pay for themselves in utility bills? YES
Data from Sunpower overall customer experience is 0.32%/yr reduction in output. 1.25%/yr is the sector wide average degradation.
