In this chart you can see the flu season for multiple years. Notice the 3 peaks in red for this year. First peak is Flu type B, second peak is flu type A, third peak is Coronavirus.

You need to go back and look more closely at your chart. It is NOT charting influenza but ILI (influenza like illness). Those are patients that come in and are testing negative for flu A or B. What’s interesting is the first spike that starts at the end of 2019 (around the holidays) before we were made aware of COVID. Could those flu negative ILIs actually be COVID infections? Hmmmmm.....

The first chart is just influenza.

The second chart is Influence like which includes coronavirus.

And could the early spikes have been coronavirus? No, they actually do flu tests. That’s how they know whether it’s type a or type b. So the first two spikes are accounted for.
