2.2 million Americans were supposed to die from this if we did nothing. It would peak really quickly and then everyone would be immune by June. But what a cost it would be.

That was a projection, and who knows if it would have been right? I still don't know how deadly this thing is, and all the information I saw coming out of China was convincing me that we were doing the right thing by taking the measures we did.

I haven't yet been convinced this thing would not have turned out very deadly if we hadn't taken the steps we had, but I think we need to start opening things back up again. I've seen enough to convince me we can somewhat manage it.
