Back in 2015, when Barack Obama was president, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) sent a $3.7 million grant to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, a lab that grew coronaviruses and injected them into animals.
It is quite feasible that the novel coronavirus responsible for the COVID-19 global pandemic leaked from that lab, and U.S. Intelligence sources have been saying that the virus came from a Level-4 lab in Wuhan. During his coronavirus press conference on Friday, President Donald Trump pledged to stop the funding.
"Why would the U.S. give a grant like that to China?" a reporter asked.
"The Obama administration gave them a grant of $3.7 million, I've been hearing about that, and we've instructed that if any grant going to that area — we're looking at it, literally, about an hour ago — and also early in the morning, we will end that grant very quickly," Trump said. "But it was granted quite a while ago. They were granted quite a substantial amount of money."
He asked the reporter when the grant was given, and she said the NIH granted it in 2015.
"Who was president, then, I wonder?" Trump quipped.

Along your line of thinking, as one who has given 5 congressional testimonies (one in Executive/Secret) session), and written a major Senate Committee report on Communist terrorism/atrocities in Vietnam, let me suggest a different approach for our side to take, one that is both legal, facts discovery oriented, and potentially exposing a whole Red China espionage/disinformation network in the US Congress, the media, and in public relations firms (i.e. the FR article on today’s list about Gov. Cuomo hiring a NY PR firm to help him, a firm that has big financial ties to Red China).
Demand that the Senate (the House is uselessly a Marxist/blackracist/anti-Trump shithole of corruption and treason), preferably by their Judiciary Committee or Intelligence Committee if Burr is kicked out for corruption, or lastly by the Foreign Relations Committee, to investigate (here’s its’ title) “The Extent of Red Chinese Subversion in America, Its Political System and Congress, in Academia/On Campuses, and in the Public Relations/News Media Industries”.
The title is a combination of prior HCUA/HISC and SISS hearings and reports from the 50’s thru 70’s about Soviet, Red Chinese, Cuban and even Sandinista/Nicaraguan espionage, murder attempts, penetration of the Media to spread Disinformation, Lies, Smears, and Pro-Communist Propaganda, and subversion on our campuses. This would also include known cases of Communist penetration and espionage efforts in the State Department, Congress, Intelligence Agencies (Cuban spies, possibly Iranian agents - the Congress’ IT systems, research labs with defense contracts, in the military, etc.).
If Graham would get off his ass, the same for Grasselly and Burr (or his replacement), and create a really well-staffed investigative team of former FBI/CIA/DIA/NSA/Treasury, etc. agents who are not anti-Trump, but who have been proven right in their observations in the past and ignored, then we could rip the deliberate coverup of the Red Chinese network in the US which runs from Chinatown in NY City to Feinstein/San Francisco, Representatives Judy Chu (D-CA), Grace Meng (D-NY), and possibly Ted Liu (D-CA), among others.
The Old Communist Party network on Congress is dying off but Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) was saying something crazy and leftist the other day, she being of the Castro/Grenada-Marxists-Maurice Bishop faction, as well as a supporter of the communist rules of Nicaragua, the Ortega brothers, and the Chavez-Maduro dictatorship in Venezuela, among others).
You also have Rep/Sen. Krysta Sinema (D-AZ) who had strong ties to the CPUSA, Danny Davis (D-Ill), Bobby Rush (D-Ill old Black Panther Party leader), this guy Mark Pocan (D-Mich), etc.
Then you have the Hamas/Fatah/Hezbollah fan-club and support faction led by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn), Rashib Talib (D-Mich), Anny Pressley (D-Mass - black anti-Semite), and Rep. Paypal (Payala) (D-Wash), hardcore Marxist and hatemonger par excellance. Other anti-semites are in New Jersey, NY, Michigan, California, Illinois, and lower levels of state governments/legislatures in these states as well as in Virginia, Ohio, Texas, Florida, etc.
I’ve only got a few years left but I’d love to be on this/these committees given my background in this area. SO MUCH TO DO, SO LITTLE TIME, SO LITTLE GOP INTEREST.
