Don’t give up hope! There may still be time to get things working in time for your big event.

FWIW, my husband also had a milestone birthday, the second weekend of our stay at home order. We celebrated virtually with family, though it was weird, it turned out ok. Definitely not what we had planned.

We also celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary shortly after his birthday. Ordered take out from our favorite restaurant instead of getting to go there in person. We managed. We discovered we had ONE bottle of our favorite champagne, which was served at our wedding (same vineyard but different year, of course). It was a shining star for us that night.

We are having to look for blessings wherever we find them these days, and sometimes, it’s the small things that end up giving us so much.

I hope you that by the time your big milestone event happens, that you’re able to do it the way you’ve been anticipating for so long. If not, I hope that you can find something wonderful about it despite the current adversity.
