I agree with you. I hope I am wrong, but I am getting tired of the “4D chess” BS. I think Trump is in over his head here. He is in the sway of these two Wormetongues. There are other experts, equally-highly credentialed, who would have offered different advice. This is like Tillerson and McMaster all over again. I sincerely hope I am wrong, maybe our economy is more resilient that I think.

The CV deaths and cases have been going up again, and that might be influencing Trump’s delay. Yesterday we had the most deaths in a single day, and they’re high again today. But it’s mainly about seven states that are driving up the numbers. Yesterday, 24 states had 10 or fewer CV deaths, nine others had 11-20 deaths, and seven others had 50 or less. That’s 80% of the states.
I told a buddy that if enough small business owners lose their businesses, they’ll sit out November and their employees will likely vote Dem. No one blames Trump for virus but we could be reopening instead telling small business owners that their futures are can be taken away at the whim of governors and bureaucrats.
