Here’s your mistake. You think the 98.5% applies to you, no way. If you’re in a high risk group the death rate of those effected is between 15% to even 20%. So you hang on to that 98.5% which doesn’t even come near applying to you.

You’re right, of course. My mistake is my concern is for my kids and grandkids. And for them, I want a healthy country, one with liberty, and a functioning economy.
I don’t want to catch it. I will do what I can to mitigate exposure. However, I’d rather catch the darn thing, then watch my country collapse economically, and see wanna be dictators strip away our rights.

Which is a major reason that you should want to have herd immunity extant in the community. When herd immunity has been achieved, the chances of you picking up the virus is substantially reduced.
