Really? Auburn is the seat of Placer County. 98K/238K voters, or 40%, are Republicans. Just under 60K rats, about 25%. This compares to 23.5% GOP in the state overall. There are MILLIONS of us behind enemy lines in this state. More people voted for Trump in California than constitute the entire total population of the 26 least-populous states. All that said, Placer County had over 50% GOP registration just ten years ago. As another poster noted, Bay Area rat Vermont have driven down the total, but we’ve still plenty of strength to return the great Tom McClintock to Congress this year
